I purchase a 2003 mtn Viper w/slp pipes and need to set it up for Midwest elevation ~1400. SLP recommends the following carb setup:

Air Jet: 1.0
Pilot: 47.5
Jet Needle: 6HEY2-59
Needle Jet: Below 0°F 499 Q-0 3.5 E-clip
0°F and above 499 P-8 (stock) 4.0 E-clip
Slide: 1.5 (stock)
Fuel Screw: 1 3/4 turn
main: (0-3000ft, 0-20F) 162.5

I installed flow-rites and blocked off all underhood air from entering the air box. How does my carb setup need to change?

If anything, with colder (denser) air you could run a little lean as opposed to the normal intake pulling some warmer air from under the hood. You may find you need to add a little fuel but I would try it with your setup first and keep a good eye on the color of the plugs.

I'd do the same, you should be pretty close even with the cold air intake. I would probably set the needles one setting richer for the first ride, and then check it multiple times at quarter, half, and wide open throttle. Old plugs will be easier to read, they don't take as long as new ones to color up.

And, if you're running ethanol you'll be slightly leaner too. Pretty sure SLP's specs weren't considering ethanol fuel.
