Hello members,
I have been riding motorcycles my whole life and would like a helmet recommendation for the snow. I have an Aria for riding the Hayabusa , a double pane shield is expensive and a breath deflector would be nice. what do you guys recommend? Thanks for all the help ! Tim

a BV2S works great for me since I wear glass's .No need for electric shield and everything stays clear even on cold days...

I am not trying to be the moderator here but this thread should be on the general section, not the SXViper/SRX section.

HJC here would show a pic, but the dvd drive is burnt out, and I don't have any good pics on the puter. Our group runs motocross lids, and properly set up to -40 actual temp with no issues

BV2S the best helmet on the Planet.Been thru so many helmets and this one works the best for fogging issues.

Another vote for the BV2s for cold weather riding. If you primarily ride above 25*F or ride REALLY actively it probably isn't the helmet for you, but if you ride cold temps on the trails I haven't found a better helmet yet, but i've never tried a motocross style.
Probably lots of good helmets out there.

HJC CLX-6 helmet and some crusty old SCOTT 89xi OTG goggles... never had a problem last year.

I ride a lot and I absolutely LOVE my BRP Modular. Like sitting in the living room watching TV, snug as a bug in a rug. My friends have the BV2S and swear by them, but I have yet to try one. Too comfy in my modular. G.

IF,and that's a big if,you can find one the older snowforce/Lazer helmets is one of the most comfortable ones I've ever worn.I really liked the quick release for the chin strap. They were available in Black,SRX blue and even red for the V Max SX.
I have a bud that wears the BV2S and he swears by it,personally I'm using a motocross style one at the present but if I can find a full face shielded one as comfortable as the Lazer I'd most likely go back to that kind.If your anything like the 99% of riders out there you will want an electric heated visor to combat the fogging that invariably happens no matter what precautions you take.Find one that fits your head well and you can see out of,kind of important, but just don't scrimp too much on the price. As the old saying goes "if you have a $10 head buy a $10 helmet"...................

I have an old snoforce helmet that was pretty comfortable but I had to trim out the foam that meets the forehead to get it that way. The only thing I didn't like about the helmet is that the shield cracked after the second ride.
