Ok so my first ride on my 98 srx... Like it alot I am guessing the kid I bought it from did not go through everything before the season but it starts easy and seems to run ok...I fouled out one plug switched it out with a new one probly from the older gas i am guessing then it ran awsome but the 2 other plugs seemed a little bit white.....then after that i took it easy everything seemed good so i did some drag passes and when i would get to about 70 or so pinned the oil light would come on? also when i first start the sled the oil light blinks? is it suppose to do that and why would it do this at wot after 70 or so?

Its using oil for sure! on my old zrt i could get 2 tanks of gas per 1 tank of oil it seems on this sled it uses as much oil as gas is this how they all are?

You may want to check your jetting also. You're plugs should be brown not white. You may be too lean on those two cylinders.

Check your oil cable to see if it is unseated, it shouldn't use that much oil. Also sometimes if the pump goes bad it will go to full on the oil.

you sure its the oil light and not the temp light?? as the temp light blinks 3 times when you start it up to check the self diagnose system. If that light comes on again at WOT usually its doing a blinking, and blinking is a sequence telling you have a problem somewhere, most likely it is the powervalaves if only at WOT. Theres all kinds of information on this site for this including all the blink sequences.

That must be it then...it does not blink at wot though...I think I will clean the PV's an see if that fixes the problem!
