Viper 144 on a MM 141 sled?

Hi all, I have a line on a 03 viper with a bad engine for a somewhat decent deal. I'm wondering if the entire suspension and track will fit under my 02 Mountain max without issue or is this a no go?


Also, what else from the 03 viper will fit and work and provide an upgrade for the MM if anything? Front shocks? Skis?

skid and track is a direct bolt in, as a set, no alterations required and the track is a vast improvement over the 141 yoko.

skis will bolt right up. the trailing arms and spindles will add a little nose height and i think thats a plus.

Is there any difference between tanks? I've heard they're the same except for some loops or tie downs for the seat.

Been looking at the 03 Viper skid and it looks the same as the skid in my 00 MM

Curious why it would be a major upgrade?

the skid itself is no different, other than rail length. the improvemet comes from loosing that heavy junk yokohama 141 track and putting the camoplast track from the mtn viper under it. thats where you will notice the difference. night and day, believe me.

Hrmm, alright I'll have to see what track my sled has in it. The new track had never seen snow when I bought it. I'll assume the brand is somewhere on the track itself and hunt
