Just got an all black shield for the sled yesterday,one question though.How in the hell do the air scoops that cover the shield come off,I messed around for an 
hr trying to get them off. 
Do they snap on or are there screws that hold them on,I can see the small plastic tabs there but they look like they will brake if i pull on them

Snowball, remove the allen head screws that go through the dash and windsheild and into the fairings. they are just under the windsheild on both the right and left side. then remove the center piece between the headlights by pulling up gently from the top of it ( it just snaps in place). the windsheild will now come right out (you may have to pull out slightly on the fairings were the allen head screws were to get the windsheild off the pins).
