Just saw this add. Is it true what he saying about the engine? Variable displacement technology in a sled. Yamaha was ahead of the times.

it starts and runs good on one cylinder than after you get about 20 kilometres an hour it kicks into the other cylinder and is good to go, so needs 2 coils to run properly all the time,

Crank seals ? points, cond,..? Ignoring a similar symtom cost me
dearly on my VK...would run on two and idle on one cyl...eventually ate its skirts and cut a 1/3" slot from pin in one
cyl....never stopped...just found alot of almn in one plug. The pto
seal was nearly non existent..

I had a look at the advert
"""so needs 2 coils to run properly all the time, lookin for 500 firm ! sleds like this that run properly sell for 1000 or so, so good deal, """
Here is your answer ,, properly ,,,
Seller knows there is a problem.....
This should still be a steel body,,,,check under the seat
to see if any steel is still there.....
Brought home a 75 TL433 a few weeks ago that shortened
by about 5 " when I pushed it into the barn..
Another I picked up Sat ,, the entire top of
tunnel had been replaced and now the edges are rotted.
Nothing 1 1/2 hours which wrenches didn't fix,,,the frame
is in the woods now and components stored ...LOL
