I have an 89' SnoScoot that my kids adore. My Nephews recently burnt the clutch out of it. I replaced the clutch but it will still not move. I currently have the side cover off, started it and can see the clutch engage but it will not turn the track. It is not making any strange noises whatsoever. I also took off the transmission cover and removed the gears and can see them spinning when I move the track by hand. But when I move the gear with the track on the ground, the gear will move freely and the track will remain stationary. WTF?
It seems as if there might be another broken piece in the system but I am not sure and do not want to tear it down any further in case there is someting simple I am just not seeing.
Any idea's? Anyone ever run across this?
