last year a chunk of track broke off and before letting go it put 2 stud holes in my bulk head and beat up my heat exchanger (no holes seens yet) and over the summer i noticed a little bit of antifreeze, can u put bars leak in a sled like you would a car?
my water pump has dribbled on and off for a few years , now at 11k its still going

I dont think it would be a good idea the bars leak will plug up somewere you dont want it to.I have had success with jb weld. The exchanger has to be cleaned with a acid were you are appying it.Next course is to have it mig welded.

As a welder I would say to not use JB weld. If you are going to fix it do it the right way. Take it out and have it tig welded. I don't know how many times I've had to fix something after it has been JB welded. Aluminum drenched in coolent is already hard enough to weld never mind adding JB weld in to the mix.
ln an ideal world joehunt is dead on, problem being depending what costs to have it welded, even if a shop charges an hour min for small jobs you would be better off getting a used part from evil bay.
Me, a distant relative of REd GreEN who lives miles from anywhere has used JB weld with great sucess with a lot of things from engine blocks to fuel lines etc etc, what ever it takes to get out of the bush with the minimum damage
lm also a lover of bars leak,l use it in all large gas engines as preventative maintaince this is not the job for it,
Moral of the story lf you have a tame welder let them weld, it otherwise clean it up well JB weld it, and keep an eye open for a good used one.

That I WOULD NOT DO , just leaving it is asking for trouble, holes have a habit of getting bigger not smaller and getting bigger at the worst possible time. l would JB weld it.
