Removed the skid tonight and well its sloppy. Who has the busking kits. I remember someone saying their not available. Was that mountain or pioneer? Also the previous owner claimed to put viper shocks in but I think it was just the rear?? The rear shock is about 18.5 center to center with 5 1/4 travel. The front shock is 13" with 2 1/2 travel and the limiter straps have a part# 86m-474.
The hyfax are shot, should I get graphite or UHMW? Thanks

I bought my bushing kit from Pioneer. It had all the OEM yamaha bushings in it. Cost around $100 and saved me from having to find part no's and order each one seperately. I also got pioneers little wheel kit, it's a nicely machined addition. Check the tech pages for stock suspension lengths. I think the viper travel is around 11" rear and 9" on the front just like on my SXR.

13" should be right for viper rear center shock. I dont know what the length was for the SRX.

I looked on ebay for some shocks with the tape measure trick and it is a viper shock. Is the small w-arm shock the same length as the viper or different as well? Just wondering if this conversion was done right!
sxr70001- I placed my order from pioneer today for the bushings, Thanks
It was mountain that is no longer selling them, I found the thread.

Make sure to use BTV's instructions for tighiening up the slop in the pivot points! I did mine that way, and what a difference! Night, and day.
