Any one ever try these? Seems they will wear out the track clips. They come up as for the srx but another site shows them for the apex which has a different rail profile. Im confused.
ive never tried em nor do i know what they fit.. but from my own personal experience with other products.... anything made from dupont is usually good stuff.. i know thier teflon/ silicone lubricant is cats @ss.. for any annoying squeaks. lol.

The rail is the same the slider gets wider at the bottom on the apex's (need wider windows on the track). My last two sets of slides were listed for the new four strokes but fit fine on my viper.

So with this being said< will the slides rub past the clips onto the track? Do you have a measurement of the slide width. Thanks

You guys have plenty of time to do all the measuring you want. Those sliders have been delayed by Yamaha at least twice that I know of. Back in Sep/Oct when they were introduced the release date was supposed to be Nov. Then got moved back to Dec. Now the most recent date for availability is mid January. Just maybe they will be available my NEXT riding season.
Check the 4-stroke side for additional info.

i have been running the wider hyfax for the last few years on proaction sleds and there is no issue with hitting the clips. the only issue you will be faced with is getting them through the track windows unless you widen the windows or drop the skid. this being the first year of the vespals, i doubt anyone as of yet has first hand experience.motorhead327 said:So with this being said< will the slides rub past the clips onto the track? Awesome!! Thats only an 1/8" difference. I would really like to try a set out, but if they are backordered maybe next season. I'm not really worried about pulling them through the window because by the time they need replaced so will the crappy skid bushings. Thanks guys!
