Does anyone know how to go about removing the bearing in the chaincase cover?

Heat up the case. give it a pop with a rubber mallet (from the back) and the bearing should just drop out. To put new bearing in put the bearing the freezer when it's cold enough, then heat the case, the bearing will just drop in place.
^ Exactly what he said.

thanks fellas...I'll give that a try. I assume i can just heat it up with my propane rosebud torch? I've always been a little hesitant at heating up aluminum and causing it to warp. I suppose the cover is rather thick and can take a bit of heat.
thanks.
thanks.
