Hi,
I have a Viper I bought used and wanted to see if anyone had advice on an AGM type replacement battery for the 2002 Viper ER...
I bought a Deka ETX18L for 1998 Vmax which I am selling right now, went out to start it for a potential buyer, it is dead showing 1V. This battery has aweseome reviews.. I had it on trickle charger all summer up until 1 month ago when I started fixing it...it worked great up until a week ago..now does not seem to hold a charge...
Is Odyssey any better?

I use $60 napa batteries on all my sleds and jet ski's. They seem to have good life. The jet ski batteries are at least 4yrs old and still work flawless. Sled batteries are now 2 yrs old and no problems. Always store inside in offseason and put a charge on them once a month. During season just leave them as they are and never a dead battery. I think a lot of how long a battery will last is how you take care of them when not in regular use. I have a cub cadet tractor battery thats 10yrs old and still rockin.
