What oil/grease or lube goes in the oil pump drive case and how much? looked in the manual but cant seem to find it.

I use a low temp, water resistant, synthetic. (brand is a preference)

opsled, I'm assuming you mean grease? About how much? I bought this sled this summer ( and know nothing about the previous maintenance) and I can hear a whining sound when running, I have to remove the belt yet and make sure it is not the fan bearing but I wanted to know about the drive first. I can see the bottom end has been apart and not sure if the previous owner put anything in the drive gear assembly.

What do you out in the oil injection bottle? Just plain ol 2 stroke oil injection oil,/ snowmobile oil?

Sorry, Just assumed on the grease deal. All it does is lube the teeth on the gears. The bearings on the idler shaft are sealed. Don't need to pack it full Just enough to keep the gears covered. Tablespoon??
