We are trying to locate some snow for the holidays. How is the snow pack in Grand Lake CO.?

A little if you get up high. We were up there over Thanksgiving and found good snow a few miles or so out of the parking lot (idle glen) even a few feet in some of the meadows.

I just ripped around Vail pass today and found a bunch of good stashes...
I'm hearing rabbit ears is good but Pagosa Springs and Creede is going to be the best in CO until the rest of the state gets snow

We lived in Grand Lake, 91-93. Three winters, all were differant. I remember one year, where there was no snow in town, had to trailer everything. How about Winter Park area? We probably would stay on trails, but some off trail meadow riding would be nice. Al

I Agree on Grand Lake being different every year. We have had property there since 1999 and have seen conditions from no snow to so much you run out of places to put it when plowing the drive way.
We went to Winter Park at Thanksgiving also. They had a bit more then GL.
