Anyone know what size nut is used on the drive gear in the chain case

Do you mean the top gear or the bottom gear? I have them both out and will go check.

Snopax i will assume that you mean the top nut seeing the bottom is a bolt. It is exactly a 1 1/8 socket. Yea i couldnt believe it myself when i was putting my sockets to the nut. But thats it. SAE and not metric? hmm. But thats what i use. Now if you wanted the size of the thread im not sure. Hope that helps a bit, but i guess it depends on what you were looking for. chris
