So I got my SRX cooler it is a little beat up looking but no leaks...

I am looking to install this in my Viper without getting covered in coolant..

It looks like I have to take off the rear pipe, then replace that with the SRX cooler and tighten the collars.

Are there any other tricks or tips I need to now about?

I am assuming drain some coolant first before I loosen the rear pipe on Viper?

Thanks!

Wildman

like you said; drain some coolant. I'd then lift the rear, both to make it easier to work on and add a protection margin against getting doused with antifreeze. you have to remove the seat and drill a new hole for the srx cooler bleeder. install, refill and bleed the system

If you want a copy of the mountaining templates and install instructions, pm me a fax # and I will shoot them over to you.

heres a pic of mine installed.. Note.. that i used the oem srx protectors and had to cut the top plastic pieces down a little to make it fit with the protectors. i used bolts to remove the protectors but that is a personal preference. hope this helps. otherwise fits good no major mods needed ;)!
