it is now offical, yamaha engineers are smarter than me. go ahead knock me over with a feather. i had to put a bleeder valve in one of the elbows on my custom rear heat exchanger. i made heat ex. out of section of hydronic heating element. finned section is 14 inches long. it is protected from any direct collisions from "debris". but still gets good air flow and will get some snow. will it work well? time will tell. i have an infrared temp gun to compare readings with another stock 02 viper. will check different spots on engine etc. cost very little to make, worth a try for kicks if nothin else. did not change anything to keep me from going back to stock, or getting regular exhanger.

lol. its alright . I've many times had to see for myself before believing what others would tell me. that being said there is quite a knowledge base here on these sleds. and you can pretty much count on the fact that if a handful of people say the same thing here it is usually true. happy sledding. also I'm not too far from you. maybe I'll see on the trails......if it ever snows!
