77 340 exciter gearing?

Hello, i have a 77 340 exciter and i was cleaning the chaincase and when i counted the teeth on the sprockets i got 19 top 33 bottom. I looked it up once and thought it shouldve been 17 top 31 bottom. Any ideas on which is the correct gearing? Thanks Rich.

I thought the 340 where a enticer and the 440 was a Exciter? The Exciter has 17- 31 stock gearing.

They made the 340 exciter's in 76,77,78. Now im confused on the gearing again.

17/31 gearing was for the 440 and 19/31 was stock for 340 I have a 77 and that's the same gearing
