There is tons of info on here for setting the 600 redheads up to kick some tail. I ran mine at 8500 rpm on the nose with thinned head gaskets, reed notched, slp can, and turks clutching recommendations. I was able to out run stock tuned 700 redheads up to 80mph. My work log in my signature will have everything I have done to my 600 since I have had it.

Sorry but I don't they get PMs in Heaven, Turk passed away. But others can certainly help out. The tech section has his setup for the 600.

I put a 51/43 helix in it with some 8AB weights and 90wrap on stock springs, and the thing is a rocket compared to what it was. I put 2.4grams on the inner holes and shaved them down until I ran 8500rpm on the nose. Very happy with the clutching on this sled now.
I believe turks clutching specs were something like 4.1 inner 3.6 outer on stock clutch setup. His clutch setup worked well because 600's typically overrev from the factory and his specs brought them down to 8500rpms.

I have the same sled and ride it on tight, twisty trails. Go into the Turk Tech page and find Turk's aggressive trail clutch setup and put it in. Get yourself a set of Viper shocks and long travel it, your back will thank you. Do the head gasket, air box and silencer mods and then throw 45 pilots in it. Go down one tooth and then through in an 1.25" track with 96 studs down the middle and hold on. I have over 11,000 miles on mine set up like this and my buddies with the '09 and newer sleds keep on asking me if they can ride my sled when we go out because they love the power and handling it has and now that it is long traveled it take the bumps really well. I sent my shocks to Bruce at B-Line Control in Lindstrom MN to be rebuilt and revalved to my sled and riding style. Do a search for B-Line Control on T.Y. to find his #. Get rid of the stock ski's and put on your choice of after market ski's because the factory ones don't cut it when you ride hard.
