Hi!
I would like lower engagement rpm in my MountainMax 700. Std is 4500 rpm.
I would like 3500 rpm if possible, in order to run more quietly in the neighbourhood.
* Am I going to loose a lot of power in the engagement? (Guess I will...)
* Which primary spring should I use?
At the moment I have the standard spring, Yellow-White-Yellow.
* Do I have to make other changes, i.e. weight rivets?
Thanks!
/ Erik

A y-g-y will lower your engagement

Thanks.
Any other adjustments required, i.e weight rivets?

try that first engage is 40 with shift of 123 on the y-g-y your y-w-y is 45/128 should help your engagement as well as top rpm in the power range better.

Hi!
Softer spring in place. The rev increased to 9000 rpm, should be 8200-8300 rpm.
And the response (backshift?) is not what it used to be.
What should I do?
