Has anyone tried Jaws performance stingers on their stock pipes?
I was at Jaws this weekend and he was telling me about them.
Calibrated to within 1% of stock can, just better sound.

Not alot of info about Jaws stuff on here. If ya get back there ask him about their Viper pipes. I have been wondering about them for years.

I will be going back to pick up my sled
What info are you looking for?

What info are you looking for?

1) do they still make them? (or have any in stock)
2) price?
3) Do they require a head mod?
4) I assume they have the same issue as most piped Vipers, poor mileage?

Sorry I forgot to ask about your viper.
Give them a call they are really helpful

I didn't get the revs up on the sled due to the old gas but is sounds really good
I can't wait to hear it when it hits around 7000 rpm and higher

I will post a pic soon
There are 3 stingers that are not connected together
I might weld some flat bar to them to make one unit

It would be interesting to know if the Jaws stinger falls into the same category as all the rest as far as actually losing hp and the only real benefit is weight savings. If it is made to almost mimic the stock muffle then it may not be as bad. :dunno:

How loud are the Jaws stingers compared to stock? Can you get them coated?
I may try a set on my ceramicoated Power Inc pipes I have sitting in my garage attic as they may fit with reverse.

The ower of Jaws and I have a long conversation about the SRXs loosing power when changing the stock muffler. I was told that these stingers were designed to flow withing 1% of the stock muffler to ensure there is no power loss.
We talked about some other stuff and I asked again "are you sure the stingers won't make me loose power" he reassured me there will be no power loss at all.
I think I asked him another 2 or 3 times before deciding...lol
The stingers are just flat black, and they are loud but not that bad.
I only drove it onto the trailer so it was hard to tell and it was hard to get the $hit eating grin off my face cuz I haven't had my sled since last April.

Once it all comes apart to get ready for some riding I will post some pics and maybe a video if I can figure out how to do it.

Did you have to change your jets? Do you have a number for this compay? and how much are they for the srx?

My cousin met Greg,Jaws owner, way back when at a drag race in Quebec and had a long talk with him about sleds and exhaust mods, very knowledgeable guy and from what I've heard very personable.I checked the web site and the SRX stinger isn't listed;how much are they?

I was told no need to change jetting
They are not on their web page I guess they would be consider a custom application
They are $389

Bad back has kept me out of the garage lately

Yes Video Please? I Just Called Jaws And They Said They Have 2 Wait To Get Another Srx In Because They Will Have To Custom Make It! Hopefully They Will Cause I Want One Bad Love The Sound Of A Piped Srx And 389 Is Alot Cheaper Than Buying All Three
