Hi, new member here. Great site.
I just bought a 2001 SRX 700 with a M-10 suspension in it. My buddy and I were looking at it and noticed that the rear wheels in the back of the track are all metal with no rubber on them. you can see in the picture where it is digging into the track a little bit. Is this common to have metal wheels on the M-10? I'm thinking about changing those wheels back to stock or something with rubber on them to stop the digging. What type of wheels should I look at?

Thanks,

that has a big wheel kit. aluminum is ok with no studs. They will get dinged up some from dirt and rocks and can eat away at the track. when you do your inspection, if you see large burs or anything that might eat away at it. sand it down with a file or paper.

Thos skids are a little wierd on track tension so make sure you do not adjust it like a stock skid. I give a way to get it correct in a thread below on setting up your skid.

that big wheel kit is giving you back about 10mph your m10 stole from you. leave it one there.

Wheel size

I have a 136" M10. Do they really rob that much with the stock wheel on the back? What diameter can I get away with on the back?

as I remember, they are 6in rear wheels. They do rob lots of speed added to that if your adjusting the track to pro action sag, it will be compounded
