Confirm cylinder part #'s interchangable

Can any one please help me out? I have a vmax sx 600 that needs a top end.

The burnt cylinders part #
8CR00 598cm3 y-1

I have the opportunity to buy the following part #
8CR00 598CM3 Y-2

Are they the same? Or better question is will they work?

I believe the dash # pertains to the cylinder position on the engine with #1 being the PTO side cylinder. I am not sure about the cooling ports and whether they are different from cylinder to cylinder.

the 8cr00 is the only number that matters . y-1 and y-2 are just casting numbers. as long as its 8cr00 your good to go.
