Ive been checking out all the engine specs for both engines and i noticed the stroke of the SRX was longer than the SXR. The non powervalved had a bigger bore so i thought maybe the two could be combined somehow....Does anybody know if this could be possible. I know there is a lot to take into acoount like port timing and deck height, rod length, bearing and journal sizes...would make a nice stroker out of the SXR engine, while gaining a few cubes
The two are not innerchangeable. Two different sets of specs on the cranks meaning spacing wise. If it were able to be done someone here would have already done it.....Like Mr. VIPER he seems to be our resident machinest.
i figured that...just wondering if anybody had any info about it
