I have four inch risers on my 03 Viper. I ordered a Yamaha oil and throttle cable off a 03 mtn viper. Worked great. All i can say is stay away from SPI on the oil and throttle cables. They are junk. Ordered some two years ago because they were cheap. That was a big mistake. First the housing of the throttle cable broke on the first ride with then on and it seemed like the throttle was five times harder to pull once I first put them on. I dont know how Rsi cables are, havent see anyone having problems with them on here so they must be good cables.

Thats what i thought. The SPI ones I got were complete new cables too, they just went oem quality.

I paid 60 for the yamaha oem ones.
richierrich, That's a good one. I always tell my brother that his cat is a POS even though it has been a good sled for him.

I ordered some cables etc.. for my 04 vipers and the RSI ones didn't work. The picture showed exactly what I needed but when it came to me it was two separate cables for the throttle and oil. I think an 04 and newer uses a one into two style cable if you're planning on using the stock handlebar setup.
I had my cables fabricated but I can't remember who did them. I think anything over 3" you will need to change out all the items listed previously.

03 was the last year the vipers had the separate oil and throttle cable. You could have got a 04 mtn viper cable and it should have worked. I think even 3in risers are pushing it, even though people have got them to work. Rerouting some cables over the air box is needed to get 3in risers.

I just saw that its a 04 viper, my bad. Get a longer brake line and a cable off a 04 mtn viper and you should be set.
Agpetro - The problem for me was that I have mtn vipers...so since I was going up to 6" I just had it fabricated because I thought it would be way to tight if even possible.
