I have a 97' vmax 700sx and want to swap out the rear suspension with a suspension from a 06' vector my buddy is parting out. Will this bolt up?

no it wont. just put a 05 vector suspension in my sx and you need to get measurement off your bud's sled and transfer to yours. not a real bad job just take good measurements. You need from center of axle to center of first hole and center of first hole to center of second. Also from top of tunnel down to centers of both holes. Have measurements if thats not possible. I drilled out rivets in stock mounting plates and relocated and reused them. The front plate i added some 16 ga steel and welded the mount to that then bolted it in with 1/4 in button head bolts instead of rivets. Bolted back also but that plate is plenty big so like i said just relocated it. Not a real difficult job if you think it through and take your time.

Don't be in a hurry when measuring and laying out the holes. Measure everything a couple times.
