well im trying to set up my suspension for the season, and whoever owned the sled before me had no clue because when i got it the transfer rods were in the red..so im in the process of trying to get it right...i set my transfer to the 3 line which is recommended...i tighted my center shock so it has preload..when my sled is sitting on flat ground..it has a 50/50 gap on the rods...but when i sit on the sled the top gap closes..do i need to adjust the center shock more or is there something else i got to do..my FRA is in the softest possition an my limiters are let all the way out...what should i do next..

when sled is sitting on the ground there should not be a 50/50 gap there. The bottom shim should be up tight with no gap.WHEN you sit on your sled then you should aim for the 50/50 gap.Adjust accordingly the rods to get that gap and if it can't be obtained..then you will have to play with the shock and perhaps the FRA to gets the gap right.

should be like this sitting by itself

so what direction should i go in to get the bottom to be tight when the sled is just sitting there by itself..?

i forgot to mention..i installed drop brackets..so i think it threw everything off..now im trying to get it right..any help would be great..esp those guys that have drop brackets..

may have to do rear spring adjustments//I know there is some info about getting the bottom spacer to be in that location.Or else something may be broke, shocks not working..etc.

Centre axle placement has to be right on for changes in front height as well as rear body heigth from drop brackets.Likely it has to come down if you did not.... and back allitle for the preasure needed 2 hold the rear of the skid up higher.

yes i already read that post an it still not working for me..sled wont hook up an i cant get the gap right..my center hole is right on..its down 1.5 inches an forward a bit to keep the same distance to the front hole..the stock hole was 11.5 inched away from the front an now my new hole is also 11.5..so i really dont know what to do now

I think the problem is you should check against the back axle.It needs to go back for proper spring tenshion. You could try removing the centre axle bolts, back off the very bottom bolts on the trasfer rods and lift the back of the sled up watching were the centre axle wants to sit.
