Finally getting ready to reassemble 2 SRX 700 engines. I started a complete restoration on a 2000 SRX over a year ago and had a major meltdown on my primary 2000 SRX 700 last March. My dam job keeps me so busy, 80-100 hrs per week, then keeping up with all the warm weather household chores, makes it dam near impossible to work on the sleds during the year. I can usually get the week between Christmas and New Years day off but there is just so much to do. I may take this sledding season off from riding to catch up on the work on my sleds. I want to put all 4 sleds: 03 RX-1, 00 SRX 700, 00 SRX 700 and a 94 Vmax-4, in top shape. Then I have to work on the trailers. Our sledding destination is an 8 hour road trip for us so the equipment must be in top shape for each trip.
It is a good thing I like working on the sleds as much as riding them. I just completed inventoring all the parts I accumulated for the rebuild work. I finally have all the parts. I have a couple parts to make to complete a engine stand I am building to hold the engine during the assembly process. I'll post pics as soon as the real work begins.
