I have been using the "standard" grade of Amsoil 2 stroke oil in my SRX since it was new, now there are 13000 miles on the engine. By "standard" grade I mean the oil which is not the Interceptor nor the Dominator oils. I find the combustion by-products (aka "crud") build up on the power valves fairly quick, a rather thick coating only after 500 miles. At 500 mile intervals the valves are stubborn to remove fro cleaning. The oil pump is adjusted to deliver the right amount of oil and the carbs have the stock jetting. The sled is used for long cruises, 250-300 miles a day, 45-60 mph cruising. I understand the Amsoil Interceptor oil is formulated to minimize the crud on the power valves. Does anyone have experience with this oil?

Thanks!!!

Jim
