i know i will get pounded for posting this but, my dad was going to get rid of his ac and by ower friends 03 skidoo :o| legenend 600 se. all black. it has e start and revers! have you here of any thing to go bad on the sled? it has about 3100miles on it!
he is asking 2800 for it! i thought it was right in the ball park?
i toled him to go with a yamai but he wants soomthing a little newer then his 98 ac and e start and revers :o| (my sled has nether :-|

I ride with a guy that has a legend 500. He has over 20,000KMs on it and has done nothing but regular maintenance on it. Mostly trail riding for him but it's been solid! Not sure if the 600 is same.

Solid motor, dependable sled. The one common problem is the starters like to go bad. It should be a ZX chassis with the SC10-2 in it. Which was good for 2000, but by 2003 there were better suspensions on several sleds. I would personally spend that kind of cash on a sled with a better skid or plan on swapping it out.

Check over on DooTalk as there are a lot of good people over there that will give you more info.

this sled has to be better then the 1998 ac cougar dlx! my dad rides like a grany and just wonts something that wont bottom out and sits higher! i road with with ower friend with this sled last year and the trails were rough but he was not to bad at the end of the day!

it has:
a newer studed track
new belt
new slides
e start and revers!
mirrors and is all black! i thought i was a good deal?

nothing wrong with the early 00s ski-doos imo. havent seen anybody have any major problems with them.

Nothing like e-start and reverse when you can use it. If its like my touring Venture it pretty damm heavy lifting when I am not suited up and not in the snow. Nearly bust a gut lifting it and the front, well, you can't lift them period.

I use the pull start to get it going when its cold and don't find it too bad. Once its ran a while and turned off it start with a touch of the key. This saves the battery. You youngsters can cut your teeth on the 94 STX my son rides with the 598 Rotax. Man, you really got to bear down and plant your legs good you crank that engine over. No e-start on it. But that engine halls at the bottom end and top it tears up the trails big time. My Venture doesn't hold a candle to it in the power dept. but being older and all I've slowed down quite a bit and don't push them like I used to or ride really hard even on 1-2 ft mogo pitching. full bore flat out and rode like it was rodeo.

watch the intake boot they crack then suck air motor has a burn down replace with v force reed major problem ski doo never recalled them tough
