swapping my sc10III from one of my srx's to my Viper. was looking for opinions on 121 to 136 extensions set back for 144 vs 121 to 144 extensions. In my mind i'm thinking 121 to 136 setback to 144 would have a better approach angle for off trail but maybe I'm not looking at it right. it seemed like in 121 form on my srx the sc10III had a steep approach angle using the donor sled measurements

having done similar with the proaction skids a few times, i would highly recommend setting the 121 skid back and taking up the slack with rail extensions.

not familiar with the sc skid, but with the pa skid the approach angle was reduced and worked well. at the time, i was doing 121-141 conversions as the tracks were nearly free. skid set back would be the same for the 144, just longer extensions, you could incorporate most any extension mathematically with the set back.
