After 13100 miles it is time to replace the track on my SRX. The candidate tracks I am looking at are a Camoplast Ice Attack (ripsaw style with the molded in metal studs) or a hacksaw or a predator (carve) all with a 1" tall lug height.

Anybody have experience with these tracks on an SRX?

Will a track with a 1" tall lug profile fit without rubbing?

Thanks!!!

Jim

yes the inch track will fit fine i got 1 1/2 and i got a little room not much but i dont have any studs either. everyone i ride with love the ripsaws but another likes the ice attack hooks ups pretty good not the same as studs but gets the job done

Thanks for the replies. I am leaning towards the ice attack track. I know the small ice picks in teh track will not be comparable to adding studs. The track is for my son's SRX, I want him to have the added safety benefit of the ice picks on ice.

Thanks,

Jim

I would do the IceRipper XT which is a Ripsaw with premolded in studs with a pointed carbide tip.Awesome hookup and enough traction for icy conditions. It'll also fit in there without any mods.
