I recently put boyesen reeds on my sled and was having trouble with it bogging so i checked the plugs and it was running rich. they say too screw in the air screws 1/4 to 1/2 turn to correct it. well i noticed not all the screws were adjusted at the position. Does anyone know if each carb is suppose to have a different setting or will it be alright to put each carb on the same setting? thanks!

i would think you would set them at about 1 1/4 and go from there and one of the carbs has a bigger main jet i do believe , you should take your carbs off and clean them and check your jetting to make sure everything is right.

These are fuel screws, but yes turning them in is leaner. Also they should end up all the same unless you have gauges to fine tune to perfection.

BACK THEM OFF UNTIL THEY SEAT. THAN 1/2 TURN INTERVALS UNTIL YOU GET TO 1 1/4. PRETTY SIMPLE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

do you screw them in until they seat, then back them off 1 1/4 ? or back them all the way out, then screw them in 1 1/4?

This where the remote adjusters are life savers! There is a right up on making your own. The are a little pricey to buy factory built ones. Kind of sucks pulling carbs to adjust screws.
