I know "modsrrx" helped me out, still need some help...key and kill switch does not work, everything else does, i pulled the wire harness that runs under the engine to light that is all good. sled starts then wont shut up. 98 srx

Sounds like ya got a short or bad switches..get a test light and continuity tester and start checking
key and kill switch doesnt get ground at same place so i'm sure u have a b/w broke wire......ur lucky cause everyone else sled doesnt start lolllllllllll...what was the problem for the lighting and other things ???

corrosion in the plug in that goes into the speedo, easy fix and i never really thought it would have been that, so just look for a broke black/white wire?

does the gas gauge wire run on the same circuit as the key n kill switch?
if your tach work then u have a bad sending units or the sending units is not grounded to the body ....can't tell where it ground but its goes to frame somewhere...easy to check.....just unplug the sending unit and check if the ground is good at the connector ..then bypass the connector gauge should move if everything is good
everything works on this sled and the only problem is it wont shut off via the key switch or the kill switch???
btw- simply unplug the key switch from harness, start sled and see if the kill switch will then work, your tach and gas guage wont work but thats ok, check kill switch, report back.
