Any body have trou ble with 2006 vk540 throttle shut off switch. I dont know if thats the right word , but where the thumb lever pivots .There is aswitch in there that shuts the motor off at an idle. You have to give it a little throttle for it to run. Something has gone bad with this switch. Sometimes at half throttle if the lever is moved it will screw up the timing or something and it will only run on one cyl.Is there a way to disconnect this switch? I don,t have a wiring diagram,so I don,t know which wires are which. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks
sounds like you are talking about the tors system. there are 2 wires down by the carb that you connect to each other to bypass it. beware though that the throttle will now freeze in an applied position. just mak shure your throttle cable is not binding 1st as this will also cause it to activate.
