Hey guys, just pulled my carbs apart to clean them and the plastic cups that slide over the main jet are really sloppy, I believe they are suppose to fit snug. Is it a bad idea to leave them out I don't want them to get stuck in the float.

I would say bad idea, they are supposed to move around. Or at least all of mine have. The are suppose to keep fuel near the jet when hard accel. cornering, the type of stuff that sloshes the fuel around

once the bowls are back on, it wont move. that is assuming the carbs are upside down when you put the bowls on.

Sounds good to me thanks for the info, anyone know what size the fuel line is? 3/16 seems small and 1/4 is a little loose.
I think it's 6mm. May even be 5 but I'm pretty sure it's 6mm.

Definately metric, 5-6 not sure which. Problem is good luck finding metric hose locally!
