Is the end nearing?....

I would be very happy to see the Ethanol crap disappear. It would mean better and cheaper fuel, lower food prices and free up billions of tax payer dollars for something worth it.

Maybe some of us should re-read article. Does not say anything about ethanol going away. End of goverment sub translates to corporations using brazilizn ethanol instead of american corn ethanol....Any better? I have no idea, To me evil is evil and "ethanol" should be put into the "bad word" catagory!

seems to me the reason for the move is all about economics and goverment budget cutting. mabey to help focus tax dollars to some other issue or concern.. hard to say. was also thinking if they continue to use ethonal imported or not. it may actually cause gas prices to ballon.

Aren't fuel prices ballooning already along with everything else?
agreed. but if the fuel companys stop getting the added 45 cent per gallon which equates to billions of dollars. well... someone is going to have to take the hit, and i doubt it would be the fuel companys. good possibility the lost money will be made up for at the consumer pumps. thats all i was getting at.

i got a supertrax a new issue and it has a hole artical in there about ethanol but i cant fined it on the web!

if everyone is concerned about ethanol and how it clogs things up..well just take a bottle of Crown Royal and dump that into your tank..Octane will climb and that motor will get a buzz from it...lol

Read the article carefully it doesn't say anything about ending Ethanol use, just the subsidy. In fact the mandate from congress to increase ethanol is still in effect according to the article.
