I am trying to get rid of the ugly rusted up bolts throughout my sled and the head bolts are looking pretty bad.I have had them polished up with a brass wire brush and they didn't look too bad but once you do something like that it's a constant battle to fight the rust so what I was considering is replacing them with stainless.Would a stainless steel bolt stretch too much to be used as a head bolt?I would like to be able to have the heads of the stock bolts anodized or coated somehow to withstand a socket and not scar but repel rust too but around here I have precious little options for doing things like this.I have a pretty good source for stainless stuff so this would be doable as long as they don't stretch and keep me constantly tightening them up.Any thoughts?

would be wary of using any bolts that are not at least as high a grade as stock. might want to ask someone who builds/modifies engines. u could clean them up and paint head and bolt heads with a paint made for engine blocks and call it good.

Could try arp. Does an srx have studs in the cylinder and then nuts on top like a red head? Or are they bolts from the top? If they have studs then just get stainless or chrome nuts
