I am installing a Fly 2" riser that when all is said and done, looks to increase my handlebar height by 2 3/4" total.

What cables adjustments do I need to check after I finish this install? or does this just kind of take up the slack and no adjustments needed?

thanks!

Be sure that the cables are routed so nothing binds or pulls when turning stop to stop. Check throttle cable free play to be sure it's not to tight and be sure that the oil cable doesn't get pulled apart at the coupling. Might as well check the oil cable setting while your there.

i am also doing a riser install and was wondering the same thing . how should the oil pump be set. i set mine to how it was with the old cable but i would like to know the proper way to set it.

I put a 3" riser on mine and all i had to do was adjust the throttle cable. if ya dont you might have trouble with it idling high and not accelerating.

i put an rsi 3" RSI riser on mine and had to change all the cables. the brake line was way to short. maybe could get away with others but didnt want to take a chance for $30 in cables
