ok i took my 600 out and it would rev past 6500 then it got lower and lower to where it would harldy hit engagement rpm. i am thinking maybe throttle override screwing up? the cyls are really cold and pipe extremly hot. maybe the tors is killing the motor over a certain amount of throttle but since i am giving it gas it is not burning all of it in the cylinder from build up and burning in the exhaust on its way out causing the cyls to be cold and pipes hot?

i kind of think it might be compression does it start good and is the exaust wet
it start 2nd or 3rd pull cold somtime more when really cold but 1 pull when its warm. it ran fine a couple of days ago reved out great no lack of power. i am really leaning to an electrical problem plugs are a nice dark gold with a slight dampness.powervalve01 said:i kind of think it might be compression does it start good and is the exaust wet

If the TORS acts up like mine did Sunday morning before I broke my ski, it hits an early rev limiter(3000 RPMish), sounds like you've got a fuel flow problem, or at least that's exactly what you described to me. Have you checked the fuel pump?

do compression check first and eliminate 1 thing at a time.
ill pick up a comp tester today my other got ran over by a tractor lol bu ill try the tors first the check the floats and other things that might stick then tonight when i go into town if its still not fix ill get a tester. i just unplug the two wires on the carbs correct like a banshee?

did you just unplug the tors? you need to plug the 2 connectors at the harness back into each other. the hang up at 3000 sounds like the tors. but I can also hear it breaking up above that. that is something else. but get the tors problem aleved first
