just wondering if any of you have heard about the annual snowmobile endurance race held her in Labrador. Its a 2800 km race, using a gps to get to mandatory check points through the vast wilderness of Labrador and northern quebec. no use of groomed trails or railway lines is permitted. $70 000 prize purse, and teams from all over the world come to take part in this race, which is done in teams of two. you guys should check it out, who knows maybe some of you would be interested in giving it a go one year!!

it was cancelled last year due to lack of snow..maybe this year also because of to much snow,sleds won't be able to make it thru that stuff..

it will never be cancelled cuz of too much snow! our lake/river systems are already frozen and the temps are only getting colder so it will be a definate go ahead this year. canr imagine 3000km of sledding through the woods! lets do a team srx next year LOL have air ambulance above us at all times to get us when our backs break!

was cancelled because of a very mild winter, was too risky running on the reservoirs because there wasnt enough ice. lot of snow, but dangerous lakes....
