choke plunger mod for SRX questions

so I got the plungers out.Am I supposed to remove 1mm from the tip??That tip has a small point to it,does it matter if I file that tip away..??

Yes blue they are referring to the long tip...remove 1mm from it to make it shorter.

thanks..I hope...lol..Just wandering why it is pointy on the end and now if I file some off..the point will be gone.That point doesn't fit into some exact area or what???

Good question Blue. Was wondering the same thing. Wish I had my carbs in front of me so I could see what that tip fits into. Guess it's no big deal since other people have done the modification. Also, does this help on the Vipers?
Stone cold, my Viper will start on 4 pulls faithfully but always looking to improve ya know?

I didn't start up the sled yet..leaving carb bowls free from gas right now until some snow comes..looking good tonight with snow and blowing snow for the next day and a half.Maybe will get a chance to sled yet...but going to in the -31 C temps daytime tomorrow with the winds...
