RPM spec for a 600 triple

anybody knows the rpm spec (high idle) for a 600 triple .. I know mine is runnig to fast but I dont know to what rpm do I need to adjust it ! !

8500 max rpm from a few seconds after you nail the throttle until you reach and sustain top speed. Go to Turk's Tech pages, look up your sled in the clutch tuning section and then use one of his setup's for the style of riding you do. For my SX 600 I used the aggressive trail setup with the secondary twisted to 90deg and it is dead on 8,500 rpm. Anything beyond 8,500 rpm the HP really falls off for that motor.
