i have a cylinder head that i've ceaned up after loose material in the cylinder chamber pitted the surface. i've got it to the point that the spherical surface is smooth but the outer ring surface still shows evidence of the pitting. It is clean and not sharp, but not smooth either. wondering if this can be reused. i would have attached a pic but i'm having trouble with it.
buy a new one they cost nothing for a 99
well a pic is worth a 1000 words, just depends on how bad it is... without seeing it hard to give a answer.

Biggest thing is to make sure there is no ring chunks embedded into the head, those come out and youll have all kinds of problems again.
