I am planning on putting in a new Top Sprocket, 21T, instead of Stock 23T that is in my Sled. Wondering if I can just drop it in and go, or will it require any clutching changes??
Basically looking for a little better lower end, pull a Sleigh, Better powder performance, but I won't want to have to be messing with the clutches.
Is dropping 2T too aggressive, and does anyone know what kind of Top end I'll lose? not really that concerned with top end speed mind you, just curious....

you dont really need to change your clutching so much as you need to go to a 68 link chain! you can drop one tooth without having to change your chain but two teeth and you'd be stretching it!

Will dropping by one 1T be noticeable? Or is it not worth the time and Effort?

One tooth will be noticeable. I've done it before.
Yes it will be noticable.Your rpms will raise slightly. You may need to add some heavier rivets to the weights.
A couple of bucks

I believe 60 total teeth require a 68l. 61 total teeth(and on up) need a 70l. The cut-off is at 60 and 61 total teeth.
