does anyone know if i can use use stock yamaha gaskets on a set of vforce reedcages. the gaskets that were on it are papper not of the metal kind like oem

On my VF 3's the reeds were fastened with a clip in system. Stock reeds with screws.
use what they sent you to use................

i am asking about the gaskets that go between the case and the reed cage,intake gaskets i guess you would call them. i rebuilt the top end and wanted to check the reeds out while i had the rest of it apart. i bought the sled used so i dont know what the vforce reeds came with for gaskets. i have new yamaha gaskets but they are metal not papper like the ones i took off. has anyone used the metal yamaha gaskets with the vforce reeds
