egt set up

I am setting up an avenger3 egt guage on my 98 srx and for the set up i have to input the number or pulses per revolution through the lighting coil.anyone help me out here?

I can't remember exactly but if you run it, it will be a mutiple...i.e. if it's showing 4000 at actual 2000 then you need to drop it by 1/2.
