I bought an SRX cooler to do an install on my 02 Viper with stock track and 1.0 inch Woodys megabites. Do I need 8 tooth drivers for the front coooler or guards for front it rear? Do I need to ru. A tight track?

XX2 you will be fine. I have a viper with a 1.25in track with 1.325in studs. I have had no problem with studs hitting. Thats with a 9 tooth driver too. So you will be fine. You should not have to run a tight track, I dont and with a looser track = better MPG.

I have a 1" hacksaw w/144 woodys up the middle and it clears fine. I did trim the lugs a little so they didn't rub on the guards or tunnel strips.

you should be fine after a good daylong ride look at it if theres decent size marks then trim the lugs or go to a smaller size stud if possible.
