After recently buying a 2005 mountain viper about a week ago I was looking over the engine and noticed a on/off switch close almost connected to the power valves, what exactly is this for?
if its a valve, its your carb heat. if by switch you mean electrical, i havent a clue.

Is it a fuel shut off valve? Red handle?

If its attached to the coolant rail..which is attached to the head, its for the carb heaters.
