In my rush to put the chaincase back in place on my sled I neglected to put the parking brake and associated hardware back on figuring I could do it later.Well it's later and I was looking the situation over last night;I either have to pull the chaincase back out to put the long bolt up from underneath like it usually goes or I could put the pads back on with the bolt going down through from the top making life a whole lot easier.
My question is is there a reason the bolt CANT go down through and HAS to come up from the bottom?I know it's not a huge deal to pull the case back off after all I still have yet to put the fluid in but man I really hate to go through that aggravation if I don't have to.

Well I tested the theory of putting the bolt in from the top,no go it hits on the aluminum coolant tube running up in back of the chaincase. So as I expected I would have to do I took the gears back out and pulled the case out just far enough to get the bolt back in properly.Everything's back together now parking brake and all.Lesson learned. :o|
